Môn Search and Rescue

Môn Search and Rescue, founded in May 2015, is a lowland search team on Anglesey in North Wales. The team supports the existing search and rescue services working on the island and the mainland by providing specialist land based lowland search personnel. We are a probationary team of the Association of Lowland Search and Rescue (ALSAR) and our trained personnel fill a wide range of roles within the team, including support roles.

Môn-SAR are a highly dedicated, motivated and compassionate team that aims to provide the emergency services and the community with year-round, professional and efficient search and rescue expertise to benefit all communities in Ynys Môn/Anglesey.

Funding and Sponsorship

Môn-SAR is a registered UK charity (no: 1162558) and needs to raise its own funds so donations and organisation support is essential to keep to team running. In setting up the team we have received generous funding from Horizon, Mentor Môn, North Wales Police and through donations from fundraising events. However, there are day-to-day running costs that we need to raise funds for. If you would like to make a donation using PayPal please use the Donate button below.

Or donate through the Charities Aid Foundation website.

Please get in touch with Môn-SAR on to find out how you or your organisation can support our vital work.
